That's like the first thing I thought about lol, the problem is someone can just put 'A' into the textbox and it will obviously find A in the cdkey file

I assume (once again) that your keys are alone on each line, no parasitic data (we could get rid of such if we knew what to filter):

$s = FileRead("cdkeys.txt")
$found = StringRegExp($s, "(?m)^\Q" & $key & "\E\r?$")
If $found Then
...

Like this:

Local $s = "huiovsbnuo" & @crlf & "ab*c.def" & @CRLF & "fjnogjiobfjno"
Local $key = "ab*c.def"
Local $found = StringRegExp($s, "(?m)^\Q" & $key & "\E\r?$")
ConsoleWrite($found & @LF)

BTW, before searching data, there _must_ be a mean to determine if the data is valid. Here that translates into "input submitted has the structure and other characteristics of a valid key, so it's OK searching for it".
