Resource files not working

Recommended Posts

When I compile the example delivered with the resources zip file, the result is not the same. Why can this be. I have userd the reshacker to see the result, and I see no difference.

The example resource_test_ani_gif.au3 without any changes has the problem.

Both systems are XP and SP3.

The compiled version from the portable PC is working fine on all PC's.

If this in reference to a specific UDF that you have downloaded, then you need to post in that UDF's thread. Nobody is going to know what you are talking about in the General Help & Support forum.

While that may be generally true, it can also backfire. For instance, I have some UDFs posted in Example Scripts, but since then I've made the decision to not post UDFs in there any longer and I frequently just mark that forum as read without even reading any of the threads. The OP Should have mentioned what UDF he/she was refering to though.

Question about decompiling code? Read the decompiling FAQ and don't bother posting the question in the forums.

True. Perhaps I should have said that nobody is going to be able to help without a reference to the specific UDF in question.

Agreed. That's a pretty basic requirement when asking for help with a UDF.

I found the solution. I was working with a different version of the wrapper. The working version of the wrapper is 2.0.1.24.

Thanks to all.

It was indeed the resources.au3 UDF.
