read then change resolution

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

I have a really of the wall question here. I have a script that runs stuff in the background behind a SplashImageOn. It works fine to hide what is going on in the background. but, when I use the script on other laptops with different resolutions, my .bmp doesn't coverthe entire area. Is there any way I can have the scrip check to see the resolution, and adjust the size of the .bmp to match it?

ideas?

Seems somewhat for malicious code.... btw @DesktopHeight and @DesktopWidth will do that for you. Put them in the splashscreen option at the place of coords.

@ niubbone

Relax, RichardT isn't into malicious code.

Cheers Richard!

One idea to have your users fixing steadily the center part of the screen: change your splash thing for a picture viewer and I'll point you to places where you can get images that will definitely attract user's eyes for long enough, sure! The same trick can be used for making adult users be _very_ happy with _very_ slow peecees while processes run in the background...
