Cant get the @error to work. Please help

Guys ! i cant seem to figure out this:

If FileReadLine Special: Sets @error to -1 if end-of-file is reached.

Then how do i read that ?

I tried

$Readhosts = FileReadLine (@ScriptDir & "\Saved\hosts",$LineToRead)
If $Readhosts = @error-1 Then
    MsgBox (0,'Information','end of file')
    GUICtrlSetData ($Input,@CRLF & $ReadAddressToAdd,"EDIT")
    ExitLoop
Endif

but its not working.

How to i figure out if reached end of file ? Do i need to read it differently ?

I guess i dont know how to read @error's

Ok but what if filereadline is not the only variable i need to concider ?

What if there are more then one, how to i specify which @error = ? to read ?

Specify each @error Check as a variable and then check each of those for the value.

$sSomething = somefunction()
$sError_1 = @Error
$sSomethingElse = comeotherfunction()
$sError_2 = @Error
