Detect characters in a region

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone i was wondering how i should do if i want to detect characters in a region of pixels. Black characters with white background

i.e

ReadChar($a,$b,$c,$d) a and b = top left, c and d = bottom right, and in that region i want to read the text. I hope i made myself clear how i want to do it

btw im not asking for raw code. Just some tips & tricks to point me in the right direction

/thx wnb

you should check out a few commands like stringright, stringleft or stringexplode... if i understood it right...

I don't think you do. This reads more as a "Help me defeat a captcha" than anything else.

not at all. I need it for another project

That being the case the previous suggestion of searching for OCR is the best one.
