How to properly get a handle from a program / window

CAuse i'm really a nub at it.

let me give an example

for the image that i just posted, i want to learn how would i modify the numbers in that box, same thing for the other box, and be able to send a command that will click start.

is there a program that can help me get / create commands or something...

That image is a broken link. But you can probably use ControlSetText to modify the numbers and ControlClick to click start.

for the ControlSetText command, how would i set that up?

can you give me an example?

Still can't see it, got a "Connection refused" network error message.

Go to the AutoIt help file and look up ControlSetText. There will be an example.

Run the AutoIt info tool that comes with AutoIt. It will give you the information to use with the Control functions.

Else you can use tab then send the text you want. See Send().
