omiden
I'm trying to get 2 values from a text file and then use that data in the txt files for the program. Heres a example. The text file will hold the users requested resolution he wants to use, so two lines height & width. I want to take that data and implement it into my program where it holds the height & width, can anyone tell me where at in the help file I can read up on how to do this? Or if you have the code already share it?
jchd
An .INI file or, if you have a simple text file, StringRegexp can probably do it, but you need to determine how to recognize your actual data. Which format does that use?Well any of those would work a .ini, format could be anyway like I think theres a readline1 readline2 thing.Or I could just put it all in one line and use "," "|" as a filesplit.EXAMPLE : 1920,1200But do you know how i would do the .ini file? jchd
I don't know, that's your choice: any text editor, a single FileWriteLine, whatever. I've no idea where this couple of values are going to come from. If you don't have more "complex" requirement, make it a one line file and StringSplit that line.
