Moderators Melba23 Posted June 22, 2010 Moderators Share Posted June 22, 2010 Ratna,You cannot see the variable runtime values directly. You have to add code yourself to debug - I tend to use ConsoleWrite at the points where I want to check the value of a variable. You could also use MsgBox (although that will pause the script until you clear it) or ArrayDisplay (do not forget to include Array.au3 ).Using Opt("TrayIconDebug", 1) will put the current line number into the tray icon tooltip - very useful if your script hangs at some point. If you are using the full version of SciTE4AutoIt3, then adding #AutoIt3Wrapper_Run_Debug_Mode=y which shows the path you are taking through the script which can also help. Finally there is a graphical debugger somewhere in the Examples section - but I believe it does not run work well on Visa/Win 7 because of the greater inter-application security.I hope that helps.
