How I set data to textarea

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I want to set data value (line-by-line) to textarea like:

data 1

data 2

data 3

data 4

$oTextarea = _IEGetObjByName($oIE, "message")

_IEFormElementSetValue($oTextarea, "data 1<br/>data 2<br/>data 3<br/>data 4")

But it display "<br/>" in textarea. I want to display data in line-by-line.

Thanks for your help,

What type of HTML element is "message"? Can you post that part of the HTML? I suspect you don't really want the text in the "value" attribute of an element at all. Perhaps you meant:

_IEPropertySet($oMessage, "innerText", "data 1<br/>data 2<br/>data 3<br/>data 4")

or

_IEFormElementSetValue($oTextarea, "data 1" & @CR & "data 2" & @CR & "data 3" & @CR & "data 4")
