Surviver
I have created GuiCtrlCreteEdit , but it has some limitations:if copy and paste a large text file, that is bigger than 30 kb of text, won't be copied.I have created a bigger Gui box, but the result is the same. Why it can't paste all the text into the GuCtrCreateEdit box? Moderators Melba23 Posted June 28, 2010 Moderators Share Posted June 28, 2010 AutoBot,It is not an AutoIt bug - I believe it is Windows limitation on Edit controls:"the default limit for the amount of text a user can enter in an edit control is 32,767 characters"Try using the _GUICtrlEdit_SetLimitText command from the GuiEdit UDF to increase the size your edit can handle. Please let me know if it works - I have never tried it myself!
