Keung
Hi, I wrote a script and compiled to test.exe. If I want to pass some parameters by command line, for example c:\test 100 2 Is it possible? How can I get the parameters "100" and "2" by script?

Mat
I think Melba's going to get in here first...Read here or the same page in your helpfile. It will describe how to use the $CmdLine array. In this case you'll want to use $CmdLine[1] and $CmdLine[2]. Make sure you test how many parameters ($CmdLine[0] contains the number) were passed before you try to access the array or else you'll get errors.MatEdit: Melba's slowing down... But whim got their instead Edited June 29, 2010 by Mat AutoIt Project Listing
Moderators Melba23 Posted June 29, 2010 Moderators Share Posted June 29, 2010 (edited) Keung,Welcome to the AutoIt forum. It is very simple to use command line parameters with AutoIt. Look in the Help file under <Using AutoIt - Command Line Parameters> and all is explained! If you download and use the full SciTE4AutoIt3 package (you can find it here), you can even specify the parameters when testing the script in SciTE (look under <View - Parameters>). M23Mat,No, you beat me this time. Defrosting the freezer takes time you know!
