Problem calling AutoIT script from PHP

My AutoIT script works fine from a local environment. However, when called from PHP, it seems to fail at launching Notepad and typing in some text which is stored in a variable. (e.g. send($log))

The compiled .exe works fine locally, but I can't seem to be able to execute it from PHP. I am already using RunAs administrator.

Any ideas?

Put some debug/logging/trace in your AutoIt script so it can tell you what's going wrong in context. For example, you said it can't launch Notepad - does it have a valid %PATH% when running in that context?
