[SOLVED] InputBox number limit (min/max)

 Share

Recommended Posts

Hello all, i have tryed to use search, but couldnt find what i am looking for, maybe it's because i used wrong phrases. So here is what i want...

I want to create input in which i could enter number only from 0 to 24 or from 0 to 60, so is there any easy way to do it or i will need to write function which would check what is written and then notify about wrong number? Thanks for answer in advance.

Makaule,

You are in luck - it is half-time: :blink:

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>

$hGUI = GUICreate("Test", 500, 500)

$hInput = GUICtrlCreateInput("", 10, 10, 200, 20)

GUISetState()

$aPos = WinGetPos($hGUI)
$iX = $aPos[0] + 16
$iY = $aPos[1] + 36

While 1

    Switch GUIGetMsg()
        Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            Exit
    EndSwitch

    $nInput = Number(GUICtrlRead($hInput))
    If $nInput > 60 Then
        ToolTip("Limit 0-60", $iX, $iY)
        Sleep(500)
        ToolTip("")
        GUICtrlSetData($hInput, "")
    EndIf

WEnd

Thanks for your answer, but i want to know is there any special parameter :blink:

Normaly i were using something like this:

If input is changed, then check what is written and if something wrong, inform/change it.

The only problem with your script is that you may write characters also, not only numbers. I know that InputBox have $ES_Number, but then both tooltips may cover each other, but i will find sollution by meself. I hope so ;)

That problem was solved with StringIsInt()
