Hi, I'm new at this forum and i have some questions,: (Program:I just want to create an auto-temporary file deleter.)

1) I readed the forum and I found a command, but forget it(and don'T know where was it). It delete the contain of the Recycle bin. what is it?

2) del command, If i use FileDelete and it found a protected file, is it automatically stop, or just skip it? (if it stops, is there any way to let me bypass it?)

3) and the last question: is that possible to let me show a simple SplasTextOn() command under the deletion? (after every file deleted it fade)

I attached the list of the paths if any1 need it.

Did you open the helpfile to see if you could answer some of these questions?

yes,

1) i tried to find the trash (tried search with: recycle, bi, delete, trash..) no match

2) Delfile, it only say: "Some file attributes can make the deletion impossible." but didn'T wrote is it skip or not, but it's no problem i can test it

3) nothing about my question.

but now i'll be offline because i need to shutdown my comp. so if can give the answers then thanks.

Doubt you used the search tab. Did you actually click on the Search tab or did you look in the Index?

I used teh 2nd tab (i think it's the index but don't know it's on my langugage) But i know there's a search (or find) tab, i don't use that.

And i saw the progressbar under deletion but i don't need only a simple picture or text under deleting.

And the for the 1st question I watched the macros but i didn't found nothing

and i have another problem

When i tried to delete the firefox cache files i saw a folder in profiles. so:

C:\Documents and Settings\Unc3nZureD\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\Unknown\Cache\Is there any way to let my script know what is that unknown folder? (there's only one [that] folder in Profiles.

Deleting temp files has been discussed many times...here is a link to just one.

My suggestion to you is to read posts on the topic (as a start search for "Delete Temp Files"), check the Help File (F1 within SciTE) develop some code as a start to what your trying to do and THEN come back and post your code with specific questions as to where you still need help.

At this point, the appearance is that you've not put in much effort of your own so the help you receive may be limited.
