Transparent GUI with non Transparent Controls

Hi there,

I like to achieve to have the normal Desktop Background with a free choosable text over. (Like Windows 7 has it right after it boots up, and before you can choose the account for login - see attached picture).

i tried this with a transparent gui and a childgui hosting the controls. when the maingui isn't totally transparent, everything looks fine! i.e. Transparent set to 160 (line 33). but setting the transparentvalue to 0 the labels looks awfull. i searched arround within google, this forum (thanks for the " _API_SetLayeredWindowAttributes" function) and so on, but with no success.
