RebolTutorial
I have never had this problem under windows XP. On Windows 7 (64 bits) each time I try to compile with explorer or scite I got this weird message. I thought this was due to AVG antivirus so I added the 2 exe compilers to exceptions but I still got the same error. Rebol Tutorial: Join the Rebolution! happy2help
Hi RebolTutorial, I have the same problem on both of my systems, XP Pro sp3 and Win7. I have AVG on both. I have my scripts (and the compiled files) on a shared network folder. On running several tests, it seams to be a problem with the compiler timing out when trying to write to the EXE file. If I'm creating a new exe then it normally works, but if I'm overwriting a file then it quite often fails. If you delete the original file first, then it seams to work. If someone could tell us how to extend the timeout on the compiler, then that should fix it.

It must be the new version of avg because I didn't have this problem on an older vista pc with avg. Rebol Tutorial: Join the Rebolution!
