#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>
#include <WinAPI.au3>

$hGUI = GUICreate("Test", 500, 500)

$hSlider = GUICtrlCreateSlider(10, 10, 480, 30)
GUICtrlSetLimit(-1, 554, 490)
$hSlider_Handle = GUICtrlGetHandle(-1)

$hLabel = GUICtrlCreateLabel(GUICtrlRead($hSlider), 10, 50, 200, 20)

GUISetState()
GUIRegisterMsg($WM_HSCROLL, "_WM_HSCROLL")

While 1

    Switch GUIGetMsg()
        Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            Exit
    EndSwitch

WEnd

Func _WM_HSCROLL($hWnd, $iMsg, $wParam, $lParam)

    #forceref $hWnd, $iMsg
    If $lParam = $hSlider_Handle Then
        If _WinAPI_LoWord($wParam) = 5 Then ;$SB_THUMBTRACK
            GUICtrlSetData($hLabel, GUICtrlRead($hSlider))
        EndIf
    EndIf
    Return $GUI_RUNDEFMSG

EndFunc
