NormalAnomaly
Hello, I am quite new to AutoIt and still trying to get a sense of what it is capable of. One of the major reasons I downloaded AutoIt is because I was told it is capable of recognizing web elements and conduct various actions with them. 2 small examples: 1. Recognize text boxes / other inputs in a web based form (e.g. registration form) and be able to work with them. 2. Recognize other elements in the HTML (e.g. a "Download" button). Checking a website with the info tool, I noticed it does not recognize elements within the page itself. Can someone please enlighten me and tell me if what I need is possible, and if so - how? Thank you very much, NormalAnomaly
PsaltyDS
AutoIt can use an application's COM Object interface, if it provides one. MS IE provides a COM interface to the Document Object Model (DOM). Dale wrote a UDF of AutoIt wrappers around all this and the result is IE.au3, which contains all the _IE* functions in the help file. Try out the example scripts under all the _IE* functions in the help file. Valuater's AutoIt 1-2-3, Class... Is now in Session! For those who want somebody to write the script for them: RentACoder"Any technology distinguishable from magic is insufficiently advanced." -- Geek's corollary to Clarke's law
