why is @SW_HIDE such a bitch?

seriously, why doesnt the shit just work right away with Run or ShellExecute

Please stay away if all you can do is vent frustration due to lack of knowledge.

Technically speaking, the fact is that @SW_HIDE was working fine as a run parameter for a given program at first. then all of a sudden it just stops workiong for that program

it's annoying, and a bug.

It is not a bug for the simple fact that not all programs "listen" to it. Some programmers decide to set the Window status themselves which to totally out of the control of Run().

so why did this parameter work the first time smartass? im aware of winsetstate, but if it can work from run then winsetstate is a stupid idea
