Monica
Hi all! I'm writing a simple program for catalog my DVD collection. I'd like (so much!!) to add the "DVD preview" function to this program: clic on film name and the DVD start to play (I've the DVD files, IFO/VOB, saved in my hard disk). I know that is NOT easy, but at least the right way for start to program an interface for DVD reading? Anyone help me? THXX!

I suggest DVDfab7 to do that, it's just a ripper that will take out all the extras/menus on a DVD then save them as VOBs or ISOs. You should be able to find it on Google. trancexx
Follow the link. That's a link to AutoItObject. UDF file that allows AutoIt easy access to the whole new layer of Windows operating system. In the download package there would be example scripts too. One of them is called DirectShow.au3. I's a direct show player (minimalistic though), meaning you can use it to play almost everything, including dvd files. I don't know who wrote that script but certainly looks cool.... no wait, wait. I know who wrote it. ♡♡♡ . eMyvnE
