ken82m
Picture of the hardware in questionJust got a brand new laptop very nice but this touchpad is driving me nuts.At first glance I thought it looked cool with the buttons blended in, probably last longer too....They are actual physical buttons not just tap areas, you can feal it when you hit them.Sorry for boring you, anyway...The buttons are also part of the "touch area", if my finger goes anywhere near those buttons while using the pad my mouse jumps all over the place.Synaptics didn't see this as a problem, I guess I'm just strange as usual lol.I know I've done stuff like this with keyboards a few timesCan anyone think of a way I can intercept the coords and ignore anything from a certain region at the bottom? Thanks,Kenny "I believe that when we leave a place, part of it goes with us and part of us remains... Go anywhere, when it is quiet, and just listen.. After a while, you will hear the echoes of all our conversations, every thought and word we've exchanged.... Long after we are gone our voices will linger in these walls for as long as this place remains."
