Random numbers

Hello. I created the script, which draw random numbers in 5 InputBoxes.

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#Include <Constants.au3>
#include <ButtonConstants.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>

Opt("OnExitFunc", "exitx")
Opt("TrayAutoPause", 0)
Opt("GUIOnEventMode", 1)

GuiCreate("Random numbers", 480, 350)
GUISetOnEvent($GUI_EVENT_CLOSE, "wyjscie")
$guzik1 = GUICtrlCreateButton("GENERATE",210,300,80,30, $WS_GROUP)
GUICtrlSetOnEvent($guzik1 , "guzik1")
GUISetBkColor(0x000000)
GUISetState(@SW_SHOW)

GUICtrlCreateInput("", 100,40,45,20)
GUICtrlCreateInput("", 150,40,45,20)
GUICtrlCreateInput("", 200,40,45,20)
GUICtrlCreateInput("", 250,40,45,20)
GUICtrlCreateInput("", 300,40,45,20)

While 1
  Sleep(100)
WEnd

Func guzik1()
$1st = Random(100000,900000,1)
$2st = Random(1000,9000,1)
$3st = Random(100000,900000,1)
$4st = Random(1000,9000,1)
$5st = Random(100000,900000,1)

GUICtrlCreateInput($1st, 100,40,45,20)
GUICtrlCreateInput($2st, 150,40,45,20)
GUICtrlCreateInput($3st, 200,40,45,20)
GUICtrlCreateInput($4st, 250,40,45,20)
GUICtrlCreateInput($5st, 300,40,45,20)
EndFunc

Func wyjscie()
  Exit
EndFunc

Script correctly draws the numbers,but when I hold the mouse on that inputs, script clears the inputboxes.

How can I fix that ? After click on "GENERATE", numbers should fill in Inputs.

// Sry for my bad english.

You create the controls every time you click "Generate". Just update the controls using "GUICtrlSetData".

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <Constants.au3>
#include <ButtonConstants.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>
#include <EditConstants.au3>

OnAutoItExitRegister("exitx")
Opt("TrayAutoPause", 0)
Opt("GUIOnEventMode", 1)

GUICreate("Random numbers", 480, 350)
GUISetOnEvent($GUI_EVENT_CLOSE, "wyjscie")
$guzik1 = GUICtrlCreateButton("GENERATE", 210, 300, 80, 30, $WS_GROUP)
GUICtrlSetOnEvent($guzik1, "guzik1")
GUISetBkColor(0x000000)
GUISetState(@SW_SHOW)

$hF1 = GUICtrlCreateInput("", 100, 40, 45, 20)
$hF2 = GUICtrlCreateInput("", 150, 40, 45, 20)
$hF3 = GUICtrlCreateInput("", 200, 40, 45, 20)
$hF4 = GUICtrlCreateInput("", 250, 40, 45, 20)
$hF5 = GUICtrlCreateInput("", 300, 40, 45, 20)

While 1
    Sleep(100)
WEnd

Func guzik1()
    $1st = Random(100000, 900000, 1)
    $2st = Random(1000, 9000, 1)
    $3st = Random(100000, 900000, 1)
    $4st = Random(1000, 9000, 1)
    $5st = Random(100000, 900000, 1)
    GUICtrlSetData($hF1, $1st)
    GUICtrlSetData($hF2, $2st)
    GUICtrlSetData($hF3, $3st)
    GUICtrlSetData($hF4, $4st)
    GUICtrlSetData($hF5, $5st)
EndFunc ;==>guzik1

Func wyjscie()
    Exit
EndFunc ;==>wyjscie

BTW: AutoIT (starting with version 3.3.4.0) replaced OnAutoItExit() with OnAutoItExitRegister() - so your version of AutoIt seems to be a bit outdated!

xPietrek,

Just update the existing Inputs, you are creating new ones each time: :)

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <Constants.au3>
#include <ButtonConstants.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>

;Opt("OnExitFunc", "exitx")
Opt("TrayAutoPause", 0)
Opt("GUIOnEventMode", 1)

GUICreate("Random numbers", 480, 350)
GUISetOnEvent($GUI_EVENT_CLOSE, "wyjscie")
$guzik1 = GUICtrlCreateButton("GENERATE", 210, 300, 80, 30, $WS_GROUP)
GUICtrlSetOnEvent($guzik1, "guzik1")
GUISetBkColor(0x000000)

$Input_1 = GUICtrlCreateInput("", 100, 40, 45, 20)
$Input_2 = GUICtrlCreateInput("", 150, 40, 45, 20)
$Input_3 = GUICtrlCreateInput("", 200, 40, 45, 20)
$Input_4 = GUICtrlCreateInput("", 250, 40, 45, 20)
$Input_5 = GUICtrlCreateInput("", 300, 40, 45, 20)

GUISetState(@SW_SHOW)

While 1
    Sleep(100)
WEnd

Func guzik1()
    $1st = Random(100000, 900000, 1)
    $2st = Random(1000, 9000, 1)
    $3st = Random(100000, 900000, 1)
    $4st = Random(1000, 9000, 1)
    $5st = Random(100000, 900000, 1)

    GUICtrlSetData($Input_1, $1st)
    GUICtrlSetData($Input_2, $2st)
    GUICtrlSetData($Input_3, $3st)
    GUICtrlSetData($Input_4, $4st)
    GUICtrlSetData($Input_5, $5st)
EndFunc   ;==>guzik1

Func wyjscie()
    Exit
EndFunc   ;==>wyjscie

All clear? ;)

M23

P.S. You need to update your AutoIt version - Opt("OnExitFunc", "exitx") is now OnAutoItExitRegister("exitx").
