taietel
First, try to see what programs run at startup: start msconfig (START -> Run), then look at the startup tab. You can disable it from there. Then clean up the registry key. IF YOU DID NOT TRIED BEFORE, BE CAREFUL!!! You might end up messing your computer!!! Things you should know first...In the beginning there was only ONE! And zero... Varian
I suggest you check out Startup Control Panel. Just download the standalone version and you can easily see and modify the startup entries without being detrimental to your system
Tvern
#830841Why start a stopic, never reply to it and then start the same topic again two days later?Anyways if you have autoit installed you can run this to try and find out what executable throws the error:#include <Process.au3> Local $pID = WinGetProcess("AutoIt Error") $sName = _ProcessGetName($pID) If Not $sName Then $sName = "Unknown. Sorry!" MsgBox(0,"The executable giving the error is called:",$sName)(run while the error shows)If you don't have AutoIt installed here is the same program as an executable.edit: removed executable.
