ZetupEXE
Hi there, just one (ok two) question(s)[i don't know where to start searching - Searching for "Combobox without Arrow" or "Combobox select one klick" didn't return any results what i need for. So - is it possible to have a "Combobox" without the Arrow on the right Side? - and is it posible to have "open" (showing all Entries) this Combobox on one single click? any hint a welcome. If you ask what i want here the explanation: I want to have a Combobox with three entries: Lock computer, Restart computer and Shutdown Computer. First default entry should be Lock Computer. On a single Mouseclick (left), where no text is (whitespace), the Combobox should open and show all entries. On a another single click "ON" the text, the Computer should do what you choosed. thx. Moderators Melba23 Posted September 15, 2010 Moderators Share Posted September 15, 2010 ZetupEXE,I am afraid that you will have to write your own control to do that. Something along these lines, perhaps: expandcollapse popup#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3> #include <StaticConstants.au3> #include <StringSize.au3> ; Declare an array to hold the choice text and ControlIDs Global $aChoices[3][2] = [["Lock computer", 0], ["Restart computer", 0], ["Shutdown Computer", 0]] $hGUI = GUICreate("Test", 500, 500) ; Create the outlines $hOutline_Small = GUICtrlCreateLabel("", 9, 9, 122, 17,$SS_BLACKFRAME) GUICtrlSetState(-1, $GUI_DISABLE) $hOutline_Large = GUICtrlCreateLabel("", 9, 9, 122, 57,$SS_BLACKFRAME) GUICtrlSetState(-1, BitOr($GUI_DISABLE, $GUI_HIDE)) ; Create the list For $i = 0 To 2 ; Size the text $aSize = _StringSize($aChoices[$i][0]) ; Create a label big enough for the text $aChoices[$i][1] = GUICtrlCreateLabel($aChoices[$i][0], 10, 10 + (20 * $i), $aSize[2], 15) GUICtrlSetBkColor(-1, 0xFFFFC0) ; Just so you can see it ; For the top line only, create a blank label to fill the space If Not $i Then $hBlank = GUICtrlCreateLabel("", 10 + $aSize[2], 10 + (20 * $i), 120 - $aSize[2], 15) GUICtrlSetBkColor(-1, 0xC0C0FF) ; Just so you can see it EndIf Next ; Hide the other options GUICtrlSetState($aChoices[1][1], $GUI_HIDE) GUICtrlSetState($aChoices[2][1], $GUI_HIDE) GUISetState() ; Set a flag $fExtended = False While 1 $iMsg = GUIGetMsg() Switch $iMsg Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Exit Case $hBlank ; Click on the initial blank space If Not $fExtended Then ; Extend the list $fExtended = True GUICtrlSetState($hOutline_Small, $GUI_HIDE) GUICtrlSetState($hOutline_Large, $GUI_SHOW) GUICtrlSetState($aChoices[1][1], $GUI_SHOW) GUICtrlSetState($aChoices[2][1], $GUI_SHOW) EndIf Case Else ; Look for a choice label For $i = 0 To 2 If $iMsg = $aChoices[$i][1] Then MsgBox(0, "Click!", "You pressed " & $aChoices[$i][0]) ; Retract the list $fExtended = False GUICtrlSetState($hOutline_Large, $GUI_HIDE) GUICtrlSetState($hOutline_Small, $GUI_SHOW) GUICtrlSetState($aChoices[1][1], $GUI_HIDE) GUICtrlSetState($aChoices[2][1], $GUI_HIDE) ExitLoop EndIf Next EndSwitch WEndThe StringSize UDF is in my sig.
