Is there an easy way to set the default for a checkbox as checked so when my program runs so checkboxes are already checked (selected)? I'm trying things out on the example provided for GUICtrlCreateCheckbox :

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>

Opt('MustDeclareVars', 1)

Example()

Func Example()
    Local $checkCN, $msg
    GUICreate("My GUI Checkbox")  ; will create a dialog box that when displayed is centered

    $checkCN = GUICtrlCreateCheckbox("CHECKBOX 1", 10, 10, 120, 20)

    GUISetState()       ; will display an  dialog box with 1 checkbox

    ; Run the GUI until the dialog is closed
    While 1
        $msg = GUIGetMsg()

        If $msg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Then ExitLoop
    WEnd
EndFunc   ;==>Example

Jury,

After creating the checkbox, add this: ;)

GUICtrlSetState(-1, $GUI_CHECKED)

Edit: "Great minds", eh! :)

Thanks for the help - I did search everywhere (honest).

GUICtrlSetState($YourCheckBoxVarName,$GUI_CHECKED) ; First param the controlID of your checkbox, second param is the state.

The State Table, is found under GUICtrlSetState in the helpfile.

Hope I made you understand things more clearly.
