Hello, I am trying to move a mouse and then left click certain area of the screen. Is there a premade script or code that does this.

I can navagate everyother way using vbscripts but moving and clicking the mouse requires autoit.

I have no problem learning this program but on youtube they are very general on the tutorials and i have not seen the code for moving and clicking the mouse.

Any help would be much appreciated.

MouseClick() or ControlClick()

I would like an example or piece of vb script code/commands for moving and clicking a mouse to certain areas of the screen.

That is the start of an example.

Thanks

This is the AutoIt forum - for vb code I suggest that you ask on a vb forum. ;)

I am now aware that the vb script code needs to be combined with the use of autoit.

I am also now aware of what vbscript code to use.

ALTHOUGH, What do I need to do from autoit in order to move and click the mouse?

Here is the vbscript code I was advised to use:

set a = createobject("wscript.shell")

Private Declare Function SetCursorPos Lib "user32" (ByVal x As Long,

ByVal y As Long) As Long

Private Sub someSub()

dim someX as Long, someY as Long

someX = 400

someY = 400

SetCursorPos someX, someY

End Sub

wscript.quit

Thanks.

getgcs,

If you are trying to use AutoIt commands from within VB, then you need to post in the specialist AutoItX section of the forum to get advice.

I have asked for this topic to be moved there. ;)

OK sounds fine to me.

Where is this forum link I don't see it?
