In need of some knowledge

Okay, I want to make a quick and simple program so I need to know what I should use.

In short

There is 3 things.

2 different folders called

Res

Res - Custom

What the 3rd thing is my program. I want it to when a window exists, It renames Res to Res - Original and change Res - Custom to Res, then when the window does not exist anymore, it changes Res back to Res - Custom and Res - Original to Res. What commands and stuff should I use?
