Hi people!

I made an installer for Photoshop for a friend of me, (he's not to smart so this helps him out).

So my script kinda looks like this

It works, not compiled.

But when I want to compile it, an error stops it and says:

Error: Unable to execute upx.exe to compress stub file:

upx: G:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Photoshop Installeren.exe: IOException: G:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Photoshop Installeren.exe: Permission denied

Could somebody please help me?

Thnx!

Program Files is a protected folder. Applications can only make changes to their own folder in Program Files, to protect applications from mucking around in eachothers folders and to prevent things like virus infecting everything.

The simple solution: Do not compile inside Program Files\Adobe, but in Program Files\AutoIt. Or use a C:\Users\You\ folder.. Or run as Admin, which is unnecessary and re-introduces the problems that protected Program Files is solving.
