Best way:

PAINTSTRUCT ps;

BeginPaint(Form1->Handle, &ps);

LockWindowUpdate(Form1->Handle);

...

LockWindowUpdate(NULL);

EndPaint(Form1->Handle, &ps);

With this way other windows will redrawn without flicker
