help with change registry from a input box

Recommended Posts

what I need to do is change the registry in multiple places from text

it would have to ask for USERNAME,PASSWORD and if you want it to auto login in and put that into the registry

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WinLogon

AutoAdminLogon = 1

DefaultUserName = USERNAME

DefaultPassword = PASSWORD

So you need to create a GUI and write the data to the registry.

What have you tried so far? Any code you can post? What problems do you have with your code?

Then the help file is a good place to start. GUICreate is the first command you need when creating a GUI. For each function you find an example in the help file.

For advanced GUI creating you can use the Koda tool which is part of the SciTE Editor.

Another good place to start learning AutoIt is the AutoIt Wiki.

Start reading the wiki, grab some exaple scripts and try to modify them to your needs. If problems arise post again.

Good luck :)
