You didn't mention them but the reason for the "later" was I want to go over a few things with you anyway.

@BrewManNH

It's not that I'm into or not into doing them. A few months back some of us formed a group to try to get the docs corrected and up to date. It just seems that I always manage to check this tread before the others. Maybe they are doing that on purpose though.

_ArrayUnique() noted and added to my list of files to work at.

I *think* this is wrong, although checking it is a bit hard.

@MSEC - Milliseconds value of clock. Range is 00 to 999

Should that range start at 000 rather than 00?? It would be wrong for AutoIt if the docs are correct, but running a few tests shows results are always 3 digits long...

I'll have to test that one. If @MSec is 15 then it should only say 15 which is 2 digits.

I disagree.

All other macro values are padded to be the same number of digits regardless of value, so @MSEC should always be 3 digits. The current behaviour is correct I think, and it is just the docs that are misleading.

As I've been using AutoIt, I've been noting things about the documentation. Hope this helps.

Richard.

I've tried to put the corrections directly under the problem, but the forum software has removed leading spaces  . (Jos: Changed to CODE box to make that work)

Updated your post to a CODE box to allow the spaces to be shown.

See you have changes for both the AutoIt3 and SciTE4AutoIt3 Helpfile there.

Edit: I made some of the suggested changes. thanks.

Hope im allowed to suggest one

_DateDiff

Can the remarks section be amended to clearly state that this will not work unless the date is in the correct format for autoit.

Wasted a load of time trying to work out what was wrong and i eventually twigged it was the format

I know it says this

$sEndDate Input End date in the format "YYYY/MM/DD[ HH:MM:SS]"

but i never noticed the format bit till much later

Thanks

Edit

And maybe an example of how to reverse dates, i used this

StringRegExpReplace($file_to_change, "\A(\d*)/(\d*)/(\d*)","$3/$2/$1")
