Tom78
Hello. As written above, i have a small problem. How can i bypass this "feature" of DirMove: "If the destination already exists and the overwrite flag is specified then the source directory will be moved inside the destination." i have the following structure: Tools\Apps\Tool01 Tools\Apps\Tool02 Tools\Apps\Tool03 ... Tools\Updates\Tool02 if an update of anyone of the tools is available, it will get extracted it to the Updates-Directory When i move the updated dir into the Apps-dir via DirMove, the "feature" causes the problem because of the folowing structure: Tools\Apps\Tool02\Tool02 Now i have both versions available, but i only want to keep the current version. The problem is i can't remove the Apps\Tools02-dir before moving, because all the settings i made within tool02 would get lost. So, how could i solve my problem? Or better, who could help me to solve my problem? ;-) Thanks

It accepts wildcards and will overwrite the existing files leaving your settings files untouched.M23 Any of my own code posted anywhere on the forum is available for use by others without any restriction of any kind Open spoiler to see my UDFs: Spoiler ArrayMultiColSort ---- Sort arrays on multiple columnsChooseFileFolder ---- Single and multiple selections from specified path treeview listingDate_Time_Convert -- Easily convert date/time formats, including the language usedExtMsgBox --------- A highly customisable replacement for MsgBoxGUIExtender -------- Extend and retract multiple sections within a GUIGUIFrame ---------- Subdivide GUIs into many adjustable framesGUIListViewEx ------- Insert, delete, move, drag, sort, edit and colour ListView itemsGUITreeViewEx ------ Check/clear parent and child checkboxes in a TreeViewMarquee ----------- Scrolling tickertape GUIsNoFocusLines ------- Remove the dotted focus lines from buttons, sliders, radios and checkboxesNotify ------------- Small notifications on the edge of the displayScrollbars ----------Automatically sized scrollbars with a single commandStringSize ---------- Automatically size controls to fit textToast -------------- Small GUIs which pop out of the notification area
