Illuma
In my SQL database I have one column set to unique, if I try to enter data that is not unique I get a return code of 19. This lets me kow there was a constraint error which I can use, but what looks better is in the console it will actually say something like --> Error: column Barcode is not unique. How can I get get access to the full description of the error in my program? Hope that makes sense?? Thanks again Mark

Illuma
Well I thought I would tidy the code a bit before posting, tested it and the _SQlite_ErrMsg returned with the exact same message I got in the console. Not sure what happens in my messy code but I will have a look! So thanks guys I can sort it from here. Regards Mark
