Moderators Melba23 Posted November 19, 2010 Moderators Share Posted November 19, 2010 Revolter, Because it is a place which is open to all users where applications can store temporary files without permission problems. But the applications still have to delete the files they create - or at least they should. A glance at your temp folder will show that many do not. When you code you should always clear up after you - close handles, delete unwanted files, free memory, etc. AutoIt will do a lot automatically, but it is a good habit to get into as many other languages are not so forgiving.
