Iceburg
I have a script that loads a bunch of different webpages, and pulls a bunch of financial data from different websites for the company. One aspect of the script pulls credit card balances for the ordering person she knows which card to use for purchases, and e-mails those balances to her. Currently I have the script running on a computer that no one else has access to so that there is no leak of information, but I would like her to be able to run this script whenever she needs. I have already hide the IE window, but still, I don't want the script anywhere but the secure computer. How can I send a request to the script, and have the script run for that user on request? I was thinking a website would work, but was curious if anyone else does something similar and might have a better idea?
somdcomputerguy
Something like this would dawn on me..Modify the script to check and process email, do whatever when a particular email exists, email the (encrypted?) results somewhere. - Bruce /*somdcomputerguy */ If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
