jftuga
I have searched the forums and documentation but haven't found just quite what I am looking for. The _Net_Share functions are close, but not exactly what I need. I want to write an app to run "new view \\server" and then filter out a list of certain network printers. Is there a UDF for this? After the user selects a printer, I then want to do add this printer and make it the default. It there a UDF for this? Which UDFs can I use for this? jftuga
So I just found "CompInfo.au3" by JSThePatriot which seems to answer question #1. I am still working on #2. -John Admin_Popup, show computer info or launch shellRemote Manager, facilitates connecting to RDP / VNCProc_Watch, reprioritize cpu intensive processesUDF: _ini_to_dict, transforms ini file entries into variablesUDF: monitor_resolutions, returns resolutions of multiple monitorsReport Computer Problem, for your IT help deskProfile Fixer, fixes a 'missing' AD user profile
water
To list all printer queues on the network you can use my Active Directory UDF (for download please see my signature) and run function _AD_ListPrintQueues. To set the default printer use _WinAPI_SetDefaultPrinter.
