rdwray Posted December 6, 2010 Share Posted December 6, 2010 I just installed the full customize version of SciTE and when I click on a line, it highlights 2. If I click in the line margin to select the entire line, the caret jumps to the following line and highlights both lines. If I press the delete button, the line that the caret is not on gets deleted. This is confusing. I have done a lot of looking and I can't find the answer. How do I get the caret to stay on the line that I select? Developers Jos Posted December 6, 2010 Developers Share Posted December 6, 2010 The Selected line get selected which is shown by a Grey background and the caret indeed goes to the next line pos before the first character. The Second line is not with a grey background, but a light-yellow background which is the standard color for the current line. This is the standard behaviour in the SciTE version released by Neil Hodgson, so if you still think it's wrong you will have to go to his Website to report it, but I don't really see any problem yet.
