At the moment I'm polishing it to make it as perfect as possible. The first thing I did was make a real nice and clean looking GUI. The other thing that I really wanted to add was some sort of help function. At this moment the help button in the menu just opens a read only word file. Although it works just fine, it doesn't look as good as the rest.So I started searching for a Help UDF. Well as you may imagine, these words are way to general to get some good search results. As I've encountered several brilliant UDFs, I suspect that there is some kind of help UDF out there. What am I looking for? Well something like thisBut there are several other help functions in other programs that also look good. I'm just looking for something that looks a bit more professional than just a word file. Tvern Posted December 10, 2010 Share Posted December 10, 2010 Sounds like you are looking for some sort of CHM creator. Googling for CHM creator should get you some results. I wouldn't try to make a comprehensive help file in AutoIt. Given the alternatives available it seems like a waste of time, unless you want something really specific that can't be found in any available software. It is pretty good, although not entirely without bugs - but then what is! The main site is not currently being updated as the company has had several problems, but you can get a copy of the penultimate release v7.4 from here - the most recent release 7.5 did not make significant changes. I'm now trying out some stuff and it looks like it's exactly what I need. The only thing that I can't really figure out is how I can fit this in my AutoIT script.
