Is it possible to translate to bellow to au3?

Private Function GetFileContents(ByVal sFile As String) As String

On Error Resume Next

Dim iFile As Integer, i As Long

iFile = FreeFile

Open sFile For Binary As iFile

GetFileContents = Space(LOF(1))

Get #1, , GetFileContents

Close iFile

End Function

devilyn,

I am not very well up on VB, but it looks like a simple FileOpen, FileRead, FileClose chain in a function. :x

In fact if you only want the file as text, you can just use FileRead directly - you only need to open the file first if you need the contents as binary (as the Help file tells you). :P
