I compiled with AutoIt x64 v3.3.8.1 and then ran the executable. It created the folder in the %TEMP% directory but no images displayed.

2 - SciTE Path is now get by registry for no standard installation.

In my usage of SciTE, there is no registry setting for where it's located because I use it from a thumb drive. If there is a setting in the registry, it will probably be from when I had it installed prior to uninstalling it, so this won't be a valid path. You should check the SciTE_Home environment variable as well as the registry to make sure you're getting the right path.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

Glad to hear that !  ;)

It's probably the bitness. Once run as x64 wrong temp files are created.

If that's for sure then wakillon you have to check that x64 isn't run.

So, with  #AutoIt3Wrapper_UseX64=N it works for you both ?

BrewManNH, if SciTE path is not found in your case, i will add a FileOpenDialog and save path to registry ! ;)

Because you have setup AutoIt to always use the x86 version. Run a MsgBox  with @AutoItX64.

That's easy to explain. All your and mine au3 scripts will run as x86 code. During AutoIt setup there is a question whether the scripts should be run as x64 or x86 (default).

With x64 some system settings are different.

Because you have setup AutoIt to always use the x86 version. Run a MsgBox  with @AutoItX64.

I did not setup anything, may be it's the default setting, because i have used silent install... o:)

Don't know if non standard SciTE installation do this association...

If there is no "edit" association then you shouldn't be doing it. Don't overthink simple stuff.
