While 1
        $MSG = GUIGetMsg()

        Select
            Case $MSG = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Or $MSG = $BTNEXIT
                Exit

            Case $MSG = $north Or $MSG = $south
                $currentxpos = $xpos

            Case $MSG = $southwest Or $MSG = $southeast
                $currentxpos = $xpos + (GUICtrlRead($title) * 2 + GUICtrlRead($distance) )
        EndSelect

        Select
            Case $MSG = $BTNPREVIEW
                MouseMove($currentxpos, 991)

        EndSelect

    WEnd

I have radio buttons for "north, northeast, east, southeast, south, southwest, west, and northwest

If I change the value of GUICtrlRead($distance) without selecting a new radio button the value of $distance doesn't change.

How can I overwrite the previous value of $distance without having to select a different radio button?

harmor,

If I change the value of GUICtrlRead($distance) [...] the value of $distance doesn't change

What do you mean by this? The only way of changing the value returned by the GUICtrlRead function is to change the content of $distance. So your comment makes no sense at all. :x

Please explain a little better what the problem is. :P

And I would also suggest that you post rather more of your script if you want a sensible answer as to what might be wrong - most people here are not prepared to write all the surrounding code required to get your loop to work. :shifty:

Not very clear what you mean, but if you want the value of the input box changed after submitting (just guessing due to your title of the thread) Then you can try destroying the input box after submitting the value and recreate the inputbox. that way you get an empty input box after everytime you submit.
