Developers Jos Posted December 24, 2010 Developers Posted December 24, 2010 So you decided to make this rubik cube solver in Autoit3 without knowing the language and even if it would be possible... what was your decision based upon? You could have spent the week to do the research on the Internet on people that have done it before to get so basic code ideas/logic and start learning AutoIt3 to see if it could handle your project to way you 3 envision it. Has your team developed the ideas on how this solver should look and feel? The only true way you will get support here is when you go through these steps because else you want us to code it for you which I doubt anybody will be prepared too. Your English is good enough but you could always go to the german AutoIt3 forum when you want to get support in your own language. MvGulik Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 While waiting for Terrine's reply ... Some alternative "Rubik Cube Solver" hardware fun. youtube: RoboticSolutionsTerrine: Think you torpedoed your own thread at #5. seandisanti Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 read up on multi dimensional arrays in the help file. that will help you create the data representation of your cube, then it's just a matter of manipulating that data according to your solving algorithm, which should consist of changing values in the array according to values entered
Terrine Posted December 25, 2010 Author Posted December 25, 2010 @cameronsdad Okey, Thank you! I will look into it @MvGulik haha.. This is good ! ;D Why have I torpedoed my thread.. MvGulik Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 (edited) Why have I torpedoed my thread.. I only said that I will send him/her a PM if I have any problems or questions.. -> I dont want to spam my thread and who knows if he/she will look into my thread again o.OWhere is the help file? Can I ask you if I have any problems? Per PM =O.Your not helping yourself here.- I'm going to do this project: assumed intent to do some work and skill to find things out.- "Where is the help file?": suggest practical lack of both. (Looking around AutoIt site (wiki) or installing AutoIt would have solve that question.) - - -"How do you know I am German o.O ?"My bet it on "Greets".Just in case. There is also a good AutoIt German forum. http://www.autoit.de/ (As in: two sources is always better than one.)
