how to get size of a label control

i m creating a gui which will only display ...some written inforamtion....i don't want to use edit control....

i used label control...while creating a label control..if we do not specify the size of the...control..it automatically adjusts its width and height...so that whole of the text is visible...i want to know that size...please help...

Piyush,

Use the StringSize UDF in my sig - it tells you the size of the label needed to display any given text. :x

I searched a lot for the same question. Use the following one could get the width. However it required run after "GUISetState(@SW_SHOW)".

Local $aPos = ControlGetPos("", "", $logoText)

MsgBox(0, "Window Stats:", "Position: " & $aPos[0] & "," & $aPos[1] & @CRLF & "Size: " & $aPos[2] & "," & $aPos[3])
