Basically, I have written a AutoIt script to run a program and then save the collected information in a specific file. Right now, I am generically using Send("(log{Enter})") to save the file as "log". The problem is that this file will be eventually overwritten the next time the program runs. What I would like to do is save the file as whatever the current time and date is. Is there a generic way to send the current time and date in text to the save as window? Jkeith247 Posted December 28, 2010 Author Share Posted December 28, 2010 I have played around with File _FileWriteLog() but it seems the only way I can get the date and time in there is to do the File _FileWriteLog() and then copy and paste the date and time into the saveas window.
