stinson6016
I was wondering if there is a way to hide the start bar and everything that goes with it? Kind of like how windows looks when explorer process is closed? Gnatwork Networks
shanet
What would this achieve? Is this for a prank script? Why not just end the explorer process? DarkAngel
theres a winlock dll available on the internet . Call the functions from there . A hide taskbar, disable alt+f4 etc functions are there . Use a dll exporter to get the actual names of the functions being exported / called . Werty
If it's just for a home kiosk and not something to share, then there is the ancient trick that doesnt require any software, simply change the monitor vertical position and scaling so it is hidden. Then just make sure your autoit kiosk script doesnt draw/write in that area of the screen, and trap the mouse (search forum) within the area your script occupies. Push the "Menu" button on your monitor and have a look around the menu and look for something like "Vertical position" and "Scaling", it may be named differently on the monitor brand you have. Some guy's script + some other guy's script = my script!
