One of my long term projects on the back burner is to create a recovery CD with a taloured set of AutoIT scripts for each of my customers. Originally I was going to use BartPE but it is only for XP and to keep it legal the customer needs a windows licence for the recovery CD. I.E. I can't give them a BartPE disk with XP on it if they have Vista or Windows 7. Any suggestions? I've done some searching around but before I commit to any one of them. I'd like to hear if anyone has tried and and what the pitfalls are. Thanks in advance! You can build a PE disk from that and use it on any system and any version of Windows no license required, find the download here. I've only just started reading through the thread so do you mind if I aks questions later? One thing I did notice already is Make_PE3 is an AutoIT program...Good to see Also thanks BrewManNH I'll look into that when I've got my head around the other thread. I didn't find any agreement. I can't believe that M$ would legally allow me to create rescue disks for my customers using this.
