Kid,

Any particular reason you did not post this in the General Help area where it belongs? :x

While we wait for someone to move it, you might like to look at these suggestions to do what you want: :P

$sString = "Mother:Hello"

$aResult = StringSplit($sString, ":")
MsgBox(0, "StringSplit", $aResult[2])

$sResult = StringRegExpReplace($sString, ".*?:(.*)", "$1")
MsgBox(0, "StringRegExpReplace", $sResult)

For $i = 1 To StringLen($sString)
    If StringMid($sString, $i, 1) = ":" Then
        $sResult = StringMid($sString, $i + 1)
        MsgBox(0, "StringMid", $sResult)
        ExitLoop
    EndIf
Next

And there are no doubt a good few more ways to do it as well! :shifty:
