eBGP
Autoit version 3.3.6.1 Have written a syslog server that provides functions that none of the commercial syslog servers I am currently using can provide. It separates log messages from routers, switches and misc and places them into separate lists. It also pulls out critical logs and firewall messages places them into a separate list. It then looks at the source IP of each message and inserts the name of the city into the message list for easier reading. The program is very Cisco centric using syslog fields that other equipment may not send. So far the program is working well with one exception. Every new syslog message adds about 300k to the programs size when you watch it in the windows task manager. It will continue to expand in memory used till it all falls down. The strange thing is if I minimize the widow to the task bar and then restore it the program will release most of the memory used and return to a managable size. Of the many things I have tried the only one that works is to minimize and restore the GUI. Any help would be greatly appreciated. syslog generic.au3
