kylomas
Melba23, Thanks, I thought there was maybe a newletter or tips and hints kind of publication... Incidentally, I am re-visiting the recursion vs. iteration issue and ran across some posts you authored. In one of them you allude to "unwinding". I am not sure what you mean by that. Just a curiosity, at his point, but if you find some time can you elaborate? Thanks, kylomas Forum Rules Procedure for posting code "I like pigs. Dogs look up to us. Cats look down on us. Moderators Melba23 Posted January 11, 2011 Moderators Share Posted January 11, 2011 kylomas,By "unwinding" I only meant clearing up after each recursive call. Just simple housekeeping like closing open file handles, resetting level counters if required - before returning. These things will very easily cause a crash if they are not done. kylomas
Melba23, THanks, was worried that there might be some cascading memory usage internally that I was unaware of. kylomas Forum Rules Procedure for posting code "I like pigs.
