Detecting AutoIt3 Limits/defaults dynamically

This question is so abstract I don't even know where to look to try and help you find an answer. Are you asking that if when you are creating a script that exceeds the number of digits that can be supported by Autoit in for instance the WINTEXTBUFFER that autoit alerts you to a problem when you try to compile? Or are you trying to display this to an end user as part of a GUI? Do you have any functions in mind or more values as examples?

Get Scite to add a popup when you use a 3rd party UDF -> http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/scite/docs/SciTE4AutoIt3/user-calltip-manager.html

They are known to autoit and you. See http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/docs/appendix/LimitsDefaults.htm

Why do you want to display them on screen when you already know them?

Post your code because code says more then your words can. SciTe Debug mode - it's magic: #AutoIt3Wrapper_run_debug_mode=Y. Use Opt("MustDeclareVars", 1)[topic="84960"]Brett F's Learning To Script with AutoIt V3[/topic][topic="21048"]Valuater's AutoIt 1-2-3, Class... is now in Session[/topic]Contribution: [topic="87994"]Get SVN Rev Number[/topic], [topic="93527"]Control Handle under mouse[/topic], [topic="91966"]A Presentation using AutoIt[/topic], [topic="112756"]Log ConsoleWrite output in Scite[/topic]

I suggest you use a global cost for that, simper and better internal documentaton.

I believe WINTEXTBUFFER and the like are internal values as they do no appear in a UDF.

A dev can answer better then I can.
